Roles and Responsibilities

• Have a deep commitment to faithfully preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ
• Preaching and teaching the congregation during our Sunday morning worship time along with Sunday and Wednesday evening Bible studies
• Providing strong spiritual support and witness to members
• Teaching the congregation sound doctrine and theology
• Demonstrating care and concern for the people of the church
• Participating in community involvement and outreach
• Visiting the sick and grieving along with potential new members
• Collaborating with groups within the church
• Promoting and supporting local, state, and international missions
• Providing strong spiritual support and witness to members
• Participating in denominational organizations (SBC)
• Managing church staff and programs
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of and commitment to the Bible, Christian theology, and Southern Baptist tradition

Education

When applying, we ask you to  provide information regarding your educational history including but not limited to:

• High school diploma (GED)
• College degree(s)
• Any attendance at a seminary or Bible college

Experience

When applying, please include a detailed list of all ministries you have led or participated in within local churches. This includes everything from teaching, to leading a ministry group, pastoring any specific groups, etc. Furthermore, please include the years that you participated in/oversaw these ministries and the names of the churches you were serving.

References

• Please include at least three references, their contact information, and your relation to each. These references should be able to testify to your character, your spiritual growth, your ability to lead, and your relationship with Jesus Christ.
