Victory Rock Fellowship of Marengo IL is seeking a part time associate pastor of worship. We are a small church in north central Illinois averaging around 30 people in Sunday service. The associate pastor will work closely with the pastor to plan and execute Sunday service. This is a bivocational position but since the pastor also works as a full time chaplain at a local rescue mission there is the potential for it to grow into a full time position.
Reqquirments:
Affirm the Baptist Faith and Message 2000
Be a born again believer in Jesus Christ
Meet the qualifications listed in 1 Timothy 3:1-6 and Titus 1:5-9
Build and maintain a worship team that will perform on Sunday mornings and at special events
Have a heart for the lost and work closely with the lead pastor to reach the community
Assist lead pastor in shepherding the flock.
Preach 1-2 times each month
Prepare and lead a weekly Bible study
