Historic Midvale Baptist Church in Madison, Wisconsin is looking for a bi-vocational pastor. The candidate must qualify as cited in 1 Timothy 3, Titus 1 and 1 Peter 5:1-4; as well as align with the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message. We also desire for our pastor to be loving, patient, and approachable.
The church is located on a major street on the westside of Madison. Even though this is an established neighborhood, it is essentially unreached. Midvale has a significant facility (25,000sf) which is currently underused. Its gymnasium is used by various groups in the area. There is also an Ethiopian Church which meets at Midvale on Sunday afternoons and during the week.

We are currently a very small, but faithful, congregation. It is our desire to reach this community with the Gospel. It is also our desire as the church grows, to move the pastor to fulltime.
