A strong commitment to Biblically based worship that enchances the worship experience for the congregation and is focused on communal singing and glorifying the Lord.
Previous background and/or experience inworking within or leading a worship team.
Strong abilities to lead a congregation in praise and worship with not only music, but enhancements of the experience with scripture or prayer.
Some instrumental proficiency with the ability to read music as well as chord charts.
Some level of formal music education is a plus, but no required.
The ability to enhance previously used material and bring new songs into the catalog the team uses.
The ability to work in collaborative and flexible manner with members of the team as well as with our second service team.
The ability to take direction from the pastoral staff and elders of the church that oversee the worship experience within the church.
