Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church (PRBC) is a small family church 20 minutes from St. Louis, MO in the metro east (Collinsville, IL). Our congregation consists mostly of mature Christians with some younger families. We love God and people. Our outreach programs are ongoing and strong, consistent with what has been said about our congregation: “Loving People Who Love People”
We are looking for a spirit filled pastor who is a good communicator, good with people, believes that the Bible is the inspired word of God and reflects this in his walk and sermons. He should have a servant’s heart, believe in the Baptist Faith and Message and be willing to grow God’s family by sharing God's revelation of Jesus Christ.
In addition we prefer that he have 2 years or more of senior pastoral experience and some seminary, but this is not a requirement. We have faith that God has already prepared the person that will be our next pastor, shepherd and church family member to help us carry on God's work.
