We are a loving and warm church family in Southern Illinois. God has blessed us with a beautiful, multi-functional facility for ministry. We have a willing spirit in our congregation and are open to new and different ideas providing they are biblically based.
SEEKING A PASTOR. . .
We are looking for the man God has chosen to lead our congregation to grow in faith and to carry the Gospel to our community and world. The man we are looking for believes Jesus Christ is the only way to salvation and the Bible is without error and is our authority. He will also be in full agreement with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. He will be anchored in the SBC faith and will be able to work with our Local and State Association. He will be a shepherd that extends God's grace to others and leads by example as one who is relational, authentic, transparent, and humble. He will have a Godly love for people and a burden for the lost, with the ability to connect and relate to all.
ABOUT THE POSITION. . .
Our new pastor will be bi-vocational, with the potential of becoming a full-time ministry. He will also have had experience pastoring a church and at least some Bible college or seminary education/training.
